Google Alerts are email updates of the latest relevant Google results (web, news, etc.) based on your choice of query or topic. So today I set up an account for 'lifestyle trends'. So now each day I will recieve an e-mail about lifestyle trends.
This is very good idea as I can check everyday for any upcoming intertesting lifestyle trends and then could use any of these potential news stories for the site.
